Biography

Born in Alaska and raised in Houston Texas, I traveled east to study industrial design at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. I returned to Houston to pursue my goal of designing vehicles for space exploration at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. I have been designing spacecraft and products for spaceflight since 2005. In addition to habitation design at NASA, I teach students in the industrial design program at the University of Houston’s Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture.

Amongst other side projects, I also study and practice music production and promotion, DJing, graphic design and illustration for concert posters and musicians. This work, although somewhat complementary to my daytime work, sails far from the world of aerospace design and engineering to explore a more hip and socially-oriented type of branding experience.
