Haters Make Us FAMOUS

Haters Make Us Famous is a bi-monthly party that I produce with DJ’s Damon Allen and GRRRL Parts at Boondocks Bar in Houston, Texas. We started the event in December 2009. It is still going strong and has been a great success. The logo was inspired by the album cover for Michael Jackson’s BAD, one of my favorite records as a kid. Actually, of all time. Since the beginning, the focus of Haters was to create a classic party night where we could play 80′s, 90′s, disco, electro and party jams! But we also wanted to create a recognizable and sustainable brand image that we could really use to the sell the night. The more we got into it, the more we realized that the branding was strong and that we could transition through different themes on different nights and still maintain the brand image. By staying true to the brand and always promoting and coming up with fresh ideas, Haters has continued to draw big crowds and get dancefloors raging!
